Hi-Tea on the Mersey!

The Mersey River Festival was a showcase of the UK's finest food traders! With over 17 food traders there was something for every taste bud all ranging from Indian, Italian  English, Vegetarian and Caribbean.

Over 200,000 turned out to see live music and acts iincluding performances from The Christians, Craig Charles, Ray Quinn and a Rat Pack Tribute Band. Other highlights of the weekend included aerial displays by the Yakovlevs, Brouhaha, RMS Type 45 Destoyer HMS Dauntless and Liverpool International Canaoe Polo Tournament at the Albert Dock.

Mayor of Liverpool Joe Anderson: " The crowds have been stunning and we made the right decision to extend the festival from the Albert Dock to the Cruise Terminal. Its been like one giant stage. The River Festival has got better and better over the last two years to where we now want it to be"
